We opened in 2016 and uniquely updated our site with one sole and simple aim - to help you explore, relax and have fun in one of the finest, most beautiful regions of France.

Family, children and pet friendly we are the perfect spot to slow down and unwind in whilst enjoying what our fabulous area has to offer. There is plenty to explore – From the famously, beautiful river Yonne, that winds it's way sleepily through Burgundy to the Seine in Paris. Canoeing and climbing, horse riding, fishing, boat hire and endless cycling. Old villages, châteaux, wine cellars, castles and WW2 forts. Burgundy, Burgogne in French, is steeped in history as rich as it's red wines!

The scent of our daily, freshly baked, bread and pastries ambles through the camping each morning as the Muntjac (small deer) nibble the grass and birdsong dreamily drifts through the nearby forest and riverside.

We pride ourselves on putting you first. Pushing the boundaries of what camping is with modern, fresh and exciting facilities: Free WiFi, luxurious showers, camper's kitchen, launderette, baby changing, bike hire, professional tennis courts, huge outdoor chess set, Ping Pong and locally sourced and produced goods in our on-site shop. All delicately achieved without losing the area's charm, without giving it that feel of a bustling holiday-camp! We actively keep spacing generous and noise levels low. We understand our guests love the tranquillity our camping and all that the region has to offer. And if you still have energy left after exploring there is a park to climb in, swings and slides or try the local joy of Boules, the activity park which is perfectly positioned beside the Yonne is 200m from the camping. In the peak season we have free wine tasting, painting lessons and circus training classes, the latter being very popular with kids (young and old!).

Whether you enjoy walking, climbing, cycling or horse riding we can assure you that after a hard day of adventures in our picturesque village or its fantastic surroundings, there is a warm and comfortable welcome waiting for you on your return in our delicious restaurant and bar that caters to multiple nationalities, tastes and ages. Our incredible chefs are always happy and ready to create a dish you'll love. We have a large menu, home-made with local ingredients. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options always available too.

We’ve ripped out the dismal and ramped up the relaxation. This is no ordinary camping! You will be very surprised.

Our aim, truly is, to simply make you happy. We’re reinventing the camping experience. Everyone is welcome. We are an English couple and including our staff we can speak French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Tagalog and, of course, English.

Surrounded by the rejuvenating waters of the Yonne river and Nivernais canal – a canal considered by many sailors to be the most beautiful of all canals with its old tunnels and ancient vaults. The canal boasts many places to hire or buy boats and to fish or just relax as the soothing waters drift by on a quiet and sunny day.

We have various pitches – Hard standing and grass – both shaded or unshaded with generous spacing – we find there’s nothing worse than being able to shake hands with your camping neighbour through your caravan window!

Our Gite is available for individuals or groups up to 15 (with advance notice.). It’s cheap and cheerful, clean and warm with shared toilets and showers – aimed primarily at sports groups or anyone who likes bargain accommodation while on their adventures.

Disabled access throughout and a large fully disabled-access wet room. Ample parking with a free Motor-home service point – you don’t need to stay, if you don't wish, but we find everyone falls for Merry's charm!

Easily accessed from the A6 motorway and situated perfectly between Auxerre to the North and Dijon to the South we are an ideal holiday destination or a perfect stop-over if en-route further South. Our local train station (only 10 mins away) gives you access to Paris in 2 hours, Dijon in 40 mins and even further afield to Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and beyond – all in under 3 hours!
